RHYTHMIC GYMNASTICS
The gymnastics is an Olympic Sport and is included in the
Olympic Games in Athens as a main sport. The rhythmic Sport
gymnastik was incorporated in the Olympic Games at the
year 1952 and 1956 exercises with rhythmic instruments (balls,
bows, ribbons and rings). .In the year 1928 were added to the
women's Olympic Sport Game in Amsterdam. Since 1984 is the rhythmic Gymnastics in Los Angeles also a purely female sport.
In the yaer of 2000, the trampoline entered as an extra
instrument in Sydney.
The rhythmic sports gymnastics (RSG) exists in Europe over 60
years and it developed itself to an independent, internationally established sport and it is since then very popular. Because of
the combination of the music, the creative movement and the
highest sporting standards, this sport became more and more
appealing to young girls.
The Rhythmic gymnastics is an exclusively female sport and is
performed in two ways, individually and in groups.
Rhythmic gymnastics is a sport that combines different elements from the ballet, the gymnastics and the dancing.
The materials (objects) are used during the movement are
balls, ropes, ribbons, hoops or clubs.
Rhythmic Gymnastics is the perfect combination of sport and art,
with the linking expressive dance steps and moves with skilful
manipulations of the balls, ropes, ribbons and hoops.
